Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan came out in support of Indian peace bowler Mohammad Shami after the latter received online abuse after India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2021 match.
One of India’s cricket team’s key players, Mohammad Shami, was targeted for online abuse following India’s massive 10-wicket defeat to arch-rival Pakistan on 24 October.
The Pakistani cricket team’s wicketkeeper batsman, who played an instrumental shot of 79 points in 55 balls, went out of the public domain to stand next to the Indian pitcher.
Rizwan has relied on social media to make a solid statement in support of Mohammad Shami. Rizwan said that a player faces immeasurable pressure and struggle while playing for their national team.
The kind of pressure, struggles and sacrifices that a player faces for his country and his people is immeasurable. @ MdShami11 is a star and indeed one of the best bowlers in the world

He also asked the Indian people to respect the players and said the India vs Pakistan match should bring people together and not divide them.
India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2021
Upon entering the tournament, the Indian team were undefeated against Pakistan in all World Cup events. But Pakistan finally put a stop to bad luck by registering a solid 10 wicket win in the ongoing T20 World Cup in 2021.
Pakistan had won the draw and captain Babar Azam said he will be on the pitch first. They limited India to just 151 runs in the 20 overs. Virat Kohli played an important role with his fifty-plus points.
Pakistan had no problem chasing the goal as they completed the chase with all of their 10 wickets still in hand. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored 79 and 68 points respectively.
