The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster has arrived, providing the first look at Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin return to the MCU.
The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home The poster has been released and provides a first glimpse of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin. Marvel Studios and Sony have spent the past few years collaborating on the future of the Spider-Man movie. Peter Parker’s version of Tom Holland debuted in Captain America civil war and went on to star in two solo films and two Avengers movie. Now he is ready to act Spider-Man: No Way Home, the final film in its Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy. While Phase 4 of the MCU is already well underway, this is one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects due to its noisy content.
Resuming after the events of Spider-Man: Away from home, the MCU sequel is confirmed to include a multiverse-centric storyline. This has been heavily rumored for months and finally confirmed with Spider-Man: No Way Homethe first trailer. The story of the multiverse puts Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the role of someone who could reverse Mysterio by revealing Peter’s secret identity. However, the multiverse is also responsible for the past Spiderman villains Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and others who return. Marvel and Sony have kept the marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home idle, but now it finally begins to change.
Marvel Studios and Sony have unveiled the first official Spider-Man: No Way Home manifest today. The poster shows Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in his Iron Spider suit with Dafoe’s Green Goblin lurking in the background. Meanwhile, Doc Ock’s mechanical arms, Electro lighting, and Sandman’s sand (Thomas Hayden Church) are also featured. Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin is best remembered as Sam Raimi’s main villain Spiderman. He went on to appear in both sequels through Harry Osborn’s haunting memories, but Norman’s return in Spider-Man: No Way Home it will be very different. This first look at his appearance seems to confirm that the look of the Goblin suit that Dafoe’s version of the character is known for won’t change when he joins the MCU. The appearance of Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home poster comes in the wake of his Pumpkin Bomb which appears in the first trailer.
With the officer Spider-Man: No Way Home poster now available, this is potentially a good sign that a new trailer is coming soon. Marvel and Sony have been holding onto showing this poster for a surprisingly long time, but now this could be the start of the final marketing push. Now that Green Goblin has been shown in the poster, it is now possible for Willem Dafoe to be seen in the next one Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer to make fans even more excited about his return.
