RPSG Group and CVC Capital will be the new owners

RPSG Group e CVC Capital won the bid to own the two new franchises from IPL 2022. While RPSG Group has made an offer of over INR 7000 crore, the capital company CVC Capital reported that it has offered over INR 5000 crore. The company headed by Sanjiv Goenka will have the franchise in Lucknow and CVC Capital will own the Ahmedabad franchise. Incidentally, in 2016 and 2017, the RPSG group had owned the Rising Pune Supergiants IPL franchise.

Potential names for the two new franchises

Whenever a new team enters the competition, before the team is chosen, it is the name of the franchise and the color of the uniform that attract attention. For the owners it is an important decision.
