Twitter reacts to Mahmudullah’s fair play gesture in Pakistan T20I

A few days after ICC T20 World Cup 2021, two T20I series kicks off in Asia. The first was between the Indian cricket team and the New Zealand cricket team which occurred in India. The second was between the Bangladesh cricket team and the Pakistan cricket team which took place in Bangladesh. The outcome of both series was one-sided. Mahmudullah and co. they lost to Pakistan 0-3, while India beat New Zealand 3-0.

The last T20I match of the T20I Pakistan vs Bangladesh series took place today in Dhaka. The Pakistan cricket team had already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-game series. They tried a few new names in the third game, and the match went to the limit. Bangladesh beat first and scored 124/7 in their 20 overs. Naim Sheikh scored 47 points out of 50 deliveries, while captain Mahmudullah was unable to leave, scoring 13 points out of 14 deliveries. Mohammad Wasim was the best bowler for Pakistan, returning with figures of 2/15.

In the second inning, Pakistan got off to a slow start. Captain Babar Azam added 32 points for the first wicket with Mohammad Rizwan in the first seven overs. Haider Ali’s 45-point shot brought them closer to target, but Bangladesh took the match to the final.
